Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen some major changes in purchasing behaviours that we as a retailer have to adapt to. These include online reservations & purchases as opposed to visiting us in person, video tours as opposed to test drives and viewing our forecourt & e-forms for finance as opposed to pen and paper. We don’t foresee that these changes in behaviour will completely go away when the pandemic subsides, therefore we are changing how we do business.

Meet the new brands...

As well as selling new Citroen & DS vehicles, we also have a range of used cars and vans available. The current pandemic means our customers are unable to view the cars in person but we are currently facilitating online purchasing processes. This doesn’t mean you won’t speak to a member of Team Telford’s; it just means that it won’t be face-to-face. Up to now, we have not separated the ‘Used’ cars element of the business and we feel like now is great time to do so. In the last couple of weeks, we have secured several distance Sales online and we want to keep up the momentum going forward. We now have two new brands within the Telford Citroen & DS family. These are Telford Used Cars and Telfo-R2D.

Telfo-R2D explained…

Within our Telford Used Cars range we are introducing a select number of vehicles that are ‘Ready2Drive’ (R2D). The cars within this range are as stated, ready to drive. These cars will come MOT’d (if applicable), serviced and prepared in full ready to take away within 24 hours of finance being set up or payment made.

Current restrictions...

The current lockdown restrictions mean we can’t deal with customers directly from the showroom. The entire process has to be done online. We are in a position to be able to do full car video tours and complete relevant documents electronically, keeping in line with the current rules. As and when the lockdown restrictions change, we will continue to update you all.
